Young Practitioners’ Symposium
Diversity and efficiency in international arbitration
As part of its contribution to the development of arbitration best practices, the IBA Arbitration Committee organises symposia for the young members of the arbitration community in cooperation with young practitioners’ groups, through its IBA Arb 40 Subcommittee. This event is hosted by the IBA Arb 40 Subcommittee, together with the Young International Arbitrators’ Group of the London Court of International Arbitration (YIAG), Young Istanbul Arbitration Centre (Young ISTAC), Young Arbitrators’ Forum of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC YAF), and the Young Arbitrators’ Group of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA below 40). The upper age limit for participation is 40 years old.
The symposium will aim to bring young arbitration practitioners up-to-speed on initiatives in international arbitration aimed at promoting diversity and increasing the efficiency of the arbitral process.
