The Berlin Dispute Resolution Days, taking place from 9 – 12 September 2024 is set to be the largest ever, featuring a record number of events over four days.
This year, the event is proudly supported by the German Federal Ministry of Justice, joining forces with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin’s IDR LL.M. program and the German Arbitration Institute (DIS). With around 30 events already on the calendar, highlights include the DIS Autumn Conference on arbitration innovation, the Karl-Heinz Böckstiegel Lecture by Lucy Reed on modern mass claims, and a conference by the German Ministry of Justice on promoting dispute resolution in Germany. The Berlin Dispute Resolution Days will also feature several side events focusing on specific industries, developments, and countries, offering a comprehensive platform for dialogue and networking.
As part of this prestigious series, Swiss Arbitration will host a special event titled “Meet Your Swiss Arbitrator” on 10 September 2024, at Panorama Punkt, Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Organised by Swiss Arbitration Ambassadors Anna Masser and David Tebel, this exclusive networking event connects arbitration practitioners with Swiss arbitrators.
