ASA Local Group Geneva

The ASA Local Group Geneva invites you to join their next meeting on Thursday, 3 October 2024 from 17:30 to 20:00, focusing on the timely topic of Arbitration and Criminal Law.

Co-chaired by Alexandra Johnson and Jean Marguerat, this event will take place at the CCIG (Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services). Esteemed speakers Vanessa Liborio from Orrick and Dr. Marc Henzelin from Lalive will lead the discussion on the intersection of criminal law and arbitration, exploring issues such as the effects of criminal prosecution on arbitration, the use of arbitration for unlawful purposes, and the criminal liability of arbitrators. Following the presentations, there will be a general discussion where attendees can share experiences and ask questions.

The session will conclude with an aperitif, offering further opportunities for networking.
