ASA Local Group Geneva invites you to join their next session, “Investor-state dispute settlement mechanism (ISDS) – Reform at UNCITRAL” taking place on Tuesday, 21 May.

After a brief introduction by co-chairs, Alexandra Johnson and Jean Marguerat, esteemed speakers Dolores Bentolila from Bentolila Law, Genève, and Michele Potestà from Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, Genève, will delve into crisis of the investor-state dispute settlement mechanism as a result of various attacks on investment arbitration, both from civil society and from institutions, particularly those of the European Union. The UNCITRAL has launched several initiatives to address the criticism and reform the system.

Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a general discussion, sharing experiences and enjoying an aperitif.
