ASA Arbitration Retreat
The Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), for the first time in collaboration with the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC), is organising the first ASA Arbitration Retreat in Turkey. The ASA Arbitration Retreat is based on a format that was originally developed by ASA in 1997 and has since been followed in annual seminars hosted by ASA in cooperation with other arbitration associations and institutions in Europe and Asia.
Over two days, sessions will be led by experienced practitioners and cover key phases of arbitration. The discussion leaders are highly experienced practitioners, who draw on examples from real past cases to illustrate these issues and different ways in which they might be addressed. Resulting in a lively debate among all participants that is designed to highlight the diversity of experiences and approaches in international arbitration, to foster the exchange and development of novel ideas and practices, while encouraging cross-cultural sensitivity.
This retreat is designed for experienced arbitration practitioners seeking to deepen their knowledge and benefit from shared experiences across jurisdictions. Participant-driven discussions facilitate learning without traditional lectures.
The seminar will be conducted in English.
Due to high demand and a large number of pre-registrations, registration is on an approval basis. Once your registration is approved by ASA and ISTAC, you will be directed to complete the payment process!
