Unifying the Commercial World – 30th Birthday of the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the German-Greek Lawyers’ association “DGJV”, this conference seeks to bundle multiple international and bilateral legal and commercial organisations on a topic of joint interest:

The congress will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts, i.e. general principles and rules of international contract law which were first adopted in 1994. We want to look at the enormous growth in the importance of the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts for international contract drafting and arbitration in recent years. At the same time, the conference will also provide an understanding of the contents and
usability of the UNIDROIT Principles as a tool to reduce costs and risks in international trade.

The conference is addressed to companies, inhouse counsels, lawyers and arbitrators. The conference language will be English and German (partially with translations).
