How to Calculate Costs?
To estimate the registration Fee, the arbitrators’ fees and the Administrative Costs that may be charged for your arbitration, please insert the amount in dispute, the desired currency and the number of arbitrators in the cost calculator below.
Please note that the costs shown here are estimates only and that the expenses incurred by the arbitrators are not included. The final amount of the arbitrators’ fees and expenses will be determined by the arbitral tribunal, subject to the binding approval or adjustment of the Arbitration Court, pursuant to Article 39(5) of the Swiss Rules.
Under the Swiss Rules, the costs of the arbitration include:
- the Registration Fee,
- the fees and expenses of the arbitral tribunal,
- the Administrative Costs,
- the costs of expert advice and other assistance required by the arbitral tribunal, and
- the parties’ legal and other costs incurred in connection with the arbitration.
The non-refundable
The Secretariat of the Swiss Arbitration Centre monitors the payment of the Deposits requested by the arbitral tribunal or the Arbitration Court to cover the arbitrators’ fees and expenses and the Administrative Costs.
The scale of the arbitrators’ fees and Administrative Costs is available in Appendix B, Section 6, of the Swiss Rules. This scale does not include the expenses of the arbitral tribunal, the cost of expert advice or the parties’ legal and other costs incurred in connection with the arbitration.
